I read wizards of the game and I thought it was a really good book. I am reading it again just for fun thats how good this book is. I could probly read it over and over. I told my grandma about this book and she said it sounded like a good book. I really enjoyed reading it. --Makaela, 13 .

Because: This is a book for smart kids who appreciate literature and want to beleive a girl/woman can be as daring as James Bond. Everything about the character Morgan is powerful and righteous. Her eventual sidekick, Birdie, represents the rest of us. She is hopeful and eager to be her best. This is a book is a real thriller. You think about for months after you finish it. I would read it to my own daughter when I have one.

Because: What a thrilling story! This is the kind of book that is good for kids because it is smart and fast paced. Mostly books like this are written for adults. Even the picture on the book pulls you in. It is hard to say if Birdie or Morgan is the main character, but they are both definately characters! They're cool and powerful, like girls should be!

Because: I thought I'd give this book a chance because another person really hated it, but she was right. Granted, it was hard for me to put down, but not because it was good. It was so mentally disturbing for me. I felt like I needed to give my brain a shower after I was finished. I am 17, and I would feel apprehensive if someone younger than me read "Deep." I think the material is just a little too disturbing, but I suppose some people may be into that sort of genre.
I was disappointed in the characters as well. They both showed a great potential for change and growth because of their ordeal, and neither one really came out of it a changed person; the younger is glad to have such a heinous personal experience to write a book about, and the older, more reclusive one now has a boyfriend and uses email. Real growth to be sure!
This is not a best book; the plot was just too creepy and the characters too static.

Because: DEEP ROCKS! It's the most curious book, but it never stops. It's like Alice falling through the Rabbit Hole! This is the kind of booK I've always looked for and never found before!

Because: I was already a fan of this author because of her first ALA book SIGHTS. I thought it was the most unusual fascinating book ever. I just read DEEP, and it's even BETTER. The two girls, Birdie and Morgan, are amazingly different, and at the same time amazingly real. The story is completely dazzling. This is my new favorite book.

Because: DEEP isn't even out yet. I'm just lucky enough to get to read an advance copy. I begged for it because I'm a big fan of the author's last AMA best book list SIGHTS. This book is even better. In fact it's riveting! It has action and love and the greatest girl-empowerment I've ever read. It should be your # 1 pick! It's mine!

Because: I wasn't sure about this one at first, but then I got into it. The ending was great, and it was very well written. The caracters were nicely developed. Overall it is definately a best book.

Because: This was one of THE BEST books I have ever read. It started out kinda slow at first then after everything got goin it was really hard to put down. I would recomend this book to any teenage girls..guys might not be into this kind of thing.
