What is Best Books?

The Best Books Committee of YALSA, the Young Adult Library Services Association, a division of ALA, the American Library Association annually selects a list of the best books for teens published in the previous calendar year with books from the last four months of the year prior to that also eligible. Lists for the last 5 years as well as the nomination form and policies & procedures can be found at Best Books for Young Adults at the YALSA web site.
