Johansen, K.V. Nightwalker Orca 2007 I liked the book it had great descriptions of the characters and it left me gussing all the way through the book if you like warlocks and hat people that try to burn them then you should read this book. Nominate? No. 4Q 4P Kelly, 17 Nightwalker was a very short, but strangely long book. It had such world and character building, that it made the book seem longer than it really was (196 pages). I liked how the people, although in a strange land, seemed very real. Also, I think that it was great when you read about all of these stereotypes, then, at the end, people are starting to knock down those walls. Everyone should read this book. I mean it. It may look childish to some people, but it is just so real, you feel like you could be there with them. Also, I think that this book should get a lot of awards for its amazing plots (although not very original). Nominate? yes 4Q 5P Lewis, 13 After his guardian dies, Maury is kicked out of his school to become a servant there. Constantly ridiculed because of his black hair and eyes which makes people believe he is a descendent of the "Nightwalkers" a group of sorcerers that are greatly feared and hated. The humans kicked the sorcerers out for no good reason other than they wanted their land. Now Maury's got to make his way to the small tribe of remaining sorcerers, to find out who he really is. I would like to have the galley of this book.Nominate? yes 4Q 4P Andrea F., 14 Friesen, Gayle For Now KCP Fiction 2007 I absolutely loved this book and think that more people should read it, despite the ugly cover. For Now begins with a prince and a princess whose lives are shattered when their baby daughter dies, then skips to Jes, a teenager whose parents are divorced and now lives with her mom and stepdad. Most of the characters in this book have connections to each other and aren't just randomly placed wherever. Another great thing about this book was how they compare everything to fairy tales in weird little ways throughout the book. I would hihgly recommend this book to everyone, but girls would definitely get more out of it. Nominate? yes. 4Q 4P Claire, 13 This was a wonderful book about a girl with a broken family. It has love and loss and all the great bits of drama packed in cover to cover. I loved everything abuot this book except the cover. The cover wasn't very appealing or relavent to the book. BUt besides that it is a fun book with believable interesting characters. Nominate? yes. 5Q 5P. Susan, 14 Meyer, Stephenie Eclipse Little, Brown 2007 - August I loved this book! the characters are indepth and understandable. Stephenie took the series to a whole new level in this terrifyingly amazing love story. The suspense and action, the story line and the character developement all contributed to this fantastic other world. Nominate? yes. 5Q 5P Lauren, 17 ECLIPSE is one of the most beautifully written works of its time. With a complex plot, well-developed characters, and a realistic setting, it is by far one of the most intriguing and enjoyable modern novels. Adding to its appeal, the stylistic and appropriate use of sophisticated vocabulary lends ECLIPSE an interest to more mature audiences, while still permitting it to be enjoyed by younger readers. ECLIPSE is a genius blend of romance, suspense, and comedy that will leave readers aching for more. Nominate? yes. 4Q 5P. Nicole, 17 Zarr, Sarah Story of a Girl Little, Brown 2007 - January Deanna Lambert was 13 when she was caught in the back of Tommy Webber's "classic Buick". Her life was hard for the three years that followed. After her dad caught her and Tommy, he never talked to her or even looked at her the same. The book was awesome, it was a mixture of emotions from a sixteen year old girl who was scared to face her past. I reccomend this book to anyone who likes the dairy-like type of books. Also to anyone who thinks life is hard. I enjoyed this book and it is an easy read, especially after you get into it. Nominate? Yes 4Q 4P Amanda, 17 Landy, Derek Skulduggery Pleasant HarperCollins 2007 Skulduggery Pleasant was a great book serious at times and lol funny at others. The book begins with the death of Gordon Edgley. At his funeral Gordon's favorite niece Stephanie meets one of Gordon's friends who where's a bandanna to completely cover his face. At the reading of her uncle's will the same man she met who's name is Skulduggery Pleasant is there. Also at the reading of the will she inherits everything Gordon owned. That night will she is staying at her newly acquired home someone breaks in and attacks her. Before he can really hurt her however Skulduggery Pleasant comes to the rescue. During the fight Skulduggery's bandanna is knocked off and beneath it there is no flesh only bone. From here the two charecters go off on a adventure full of magic, betrayal, and secrets. This book is really good and funny. Yes. 4Q Better than most. 4P Broad general teen appeal. Brady 12 This was a very original book, and I love originality. The characters were interesting and creative and the book was witty and had a captivating plot. I have nothing but good reviews for this book. Nominate? Yes 5Q 5P. Kara D., 13 Who would not like a detective novel, with a fire throwing, skeleton in it? A very witty book, with wonderful characters, and great plot twists. I feel like though there has to be a sequel, because it feels rather unfinished. I would like to have the galley copy of this book. Nominate? Yes. 4Q 4P Andrea F. 13 I'm a big sucker when it comes to detective novels. Add a skeleton with an awesome name and his plucky girl sidekick, and I am going to put off eating and breathing till I finish the book. The title was what first interested me. My thoughts were along the lines of, any book named "Skulduggery Pleasant" must be at least a bit good. So, I grabbed it and started reading. Though the beginning is what might be called slow, I was soon hooked. It was almost life or death, or un-death anyway, for me to know what happened next. I my self am rather sarcastic, so finding two characters with my throttled sense of humor was great fun. I can honesty say this is the funniest book I have read since my first Terry Pratchett. Long live dead skeletons! I think "Get an afterlife" might have a good career as a bumper sticker. Nominate? Yes 5Q 5P. Logan 13 This has to be one of the funniest books that I have ever read! I loved how in the beginning, it was a really scary horrer book, and then suddenly, a strange guy comes up aand sais "Hi I'm Skulduggery Pleasant", and the book just gets better from there. After they meet, Stephanie and Skulduggery have to do lots of detective work and basically save the world. I would nominate this book for every award there is and it is now my second favorite book in the universe (it is second to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy). Wants book. Nominate? Yes 5Q 5P. Lewis, 13 I thought this book was pretty good. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes an interesting thriller and mystery put together. All around this was a pretty good book. Nominate? yes. 3Q 4P Cisj Pijmmjqt, 16 I really enjoyed this book. It wasn’t what I expected, but it took me on an adventure that I won’t forget. I really liked how the story stayed on an easy plot and you could almost guess what would happen next. Over all it was a great book, I hope there is a sequel. I defiantly recommend this book. Nominate? no 4Q 5P, Ibo Dpxez, 17 Lasky, Kathryn The Last Girls of Pompeii Penguin Group 2007 This tale of a beatiful slave girl and her mistress who has a deformed arm in Pompeii right before Vesuvius erupts had an excellent story line. However, it almost seemed like it was written for a younger audience because of the style of writing, even though some of the content was mature. I liked the way everything built up to the eruption, even though it was easy to see what was coming. I would recommend this book to people who love history. Nominate? no. 3Q 4P Claire, 13 I've always wondered a lot about Pompeii ever since we studied ancient civilizations in 6th grade. This book, 'The Last Girls of Pompeii', was the story of two girls, one rich, one slave, living in Pompeii before Mount Vesuvius blew. Julia, the daughter of a rich ship builder, posesses the curse of Venus, a crippled arm that hangs loosly at her side, and is unable to function properly. Sura, her slave, has beauty that turns heads everywhere she goes. Soon, something terrible is to happen to Julia, and the girls must find out how to save her. This book had a good main idea, but was far too short for all the information inside it- it was only 175 pages. I didn't love it, but it was decent. Nominate? No 3Q 3P Elle, 13 Carey, Janet Lee Dragon’s Keep Harcourt 2007 - April When I first heard about this book I was worried that it might become a tad bit cliche, but I'm happy to say that Dragon's Keep is wonderfully original. Janet Lee Carey is very skilled at withholding just enough information so you want to keep reading, but you don't get irritated because you don't understand anything. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it an 8 1/2. Nominate? yes. 4Q. 4P. Andrea, 14 I thought this book was great it has an extream amount of action and the author did a good job exsplaning and organizing her thoughts.Would you nominate this book for an award? yes. 5Q 4P. arianna, 16 Brewer, Heather Chronicles of Vladimir Tod: Eighth Grade Bites Penguin: Dutton 2007 I thought the cover was great. I love the smiley face. I would recommend this book because it is a great book about the struggles of a teenage vampire struggling to survive in the human world. I love the fact that Vlad is so human like. Nominate? Yes. 4Q 4P Melissa, 17 Mead, Richelle Vampire Academy Penguin: Razorbill 2007 - August This book holds interest. the characters and story lines develope and become more distinguished as the book progresses. it was a fast read and easy to get into. Rose is a great protaganist and i hope to see her in more novels. Mead made sure that the crucial aspects of the story remained a mystery until the exact right moment. the twist at the end was also unexpected and helped explain even more about the characters. the ending left the series open of course without leaving me unsatisified.this novel definately rivals other great teen vampire novels such as twilight by stephenie meyer, especially in complexity.Nominate? Yes. 5Q 5P Lauren, 17 Paulsen, Gary Lawn Boy Random: Wendy Lamb Books 2007 - June For his birthday he recieves an old lawnmower from his Grand-ma. A lawnmower? Well its the middle of summer and he has been wanting to earn some money to but this new bike...so he goes into the lawnmowing buisiness. When this neighbor, Arnold, gets him to start expanding his business by employing others to mow the comtinuely growing number of clients lawnsand by investing in stock before he realizes it he has a bunch of money...more than enough to but his bike! But, with all great empires comes trouble...and it does...especially when his parents know nothing of his business. A very short but entertaining story by Paulson...showing the inner issues of economic growth of a lawn mowing business. Nominate? yes. Hazel, 15 At first this book is kind boring but I kept on reading it then about in the middle of the book it got really interesting and I really started to enjoy it but I would recommend this book to everyone!! Nominate? yes. 4Q. 4P. Jpf Vbmefa, 16 I think this book is a great short read. It’s about a kid who gets a lawn mower for his birthday and starts his own business, making so much money for a little kid. Nominate? yes. 3Q. 3P. Jfttf Esfltpn, 17 Brashares, Ann Forever In Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood Delacorte Press 2007 Okay, so I've read all the books leading up to 'Forever in Blue', and I've liked them pretty well. I think they go in stages. The first one was amazing, the second one was okay, the third one was awesome, and then this one was, well, blech. The only story line that I actually enjoyed was Carmans. I LOVED Carmans. But everyone else is growing up and doing extreamly stupid things. Like after I read Bridget's section, I didn't even feel like she did anything. And after I read Lena's, I didn't even like her anymore. Lena was always my favorite, but she's losing her charm. She was always the modest Greek artist who wasn't gaga over every guy she saw. And Tibby, well, she's turned into a complete rebel. The ending to this book was kind of a let down. I was expecting a big finish, about how all the girls had bonded because of the pants, but no, it ends on a last minute trip to Greece. I think older readers might have connected with this book more than I did. But, all the same, I would recommend reading it for Carman's sake. (Hint: Skip the other parts and read only Carman's) So, overall, the series was alright. I really enjoyed 50% of the books, so I'd recommend the series, you just have to wait out the second book. And, if you don't want your opinions of the sisters to spoil, don't even read 'Forever in Blue'. The third one should have been the end of the series. Nominate? no. Q3 2P. Elle, 13 Cast, P. C. and Kristen Cast Marked St. Martin's Griffin May 2007 Marked has an amazing plot, but the story line has the problem of suddenly becoming boring. It's very interesting, until the focus ends up on the teenage problems as opposed to the vampyre problems. It kind of loses your interest for a while then suddenly picks it back up. LIke someone who fumbled a football and then picked it up, over and over again. Nominate? no. 3Q 3P. Kyla, 16 if you like a good vampyres then you need to read tis book i liked it i don't know if you who is reading this will like it because it is all up to i also want to say i can't what to read the second book to come out. Nominate? yes. 5Q 5P. Kelly, 17 I really liked this book and how it was a different spin on the whole vampire scene. I definately would recommend it for anyone who liked Twilight. Nominate? yes. 5Q. 5P. Deseray, 16. Dixon, Sean The Feathered Cloak Key Porter Books 2007 An epic tale of the last of the Vikings, with Norse legend added throughout the book. The main character Freya finds a falcon by the name of Morton, who set out on a journey to recover his wings from the tryrannical King Eric. The characters are likable, but stil human. I would like the book club's copy of this book. Nominate? yes. 4Q 4P. Andrea F. 14 George, Jessica Day Dragon Slippers 'Dragon Slippers' was an excellent fairy tale with a strong female lead. Creel has been given to a dragon, in hopes that a handsome young knight will come to rescue her and make her his bride. But, instead, she ends up with a pair of strange blue slippers. This book was filled with humer, wit, and pure fantasy that I think will be refreshing to all readers, no matter what there age. I loved the idea of Creel's ability to embroider, and the idea of dragons collecting a certain thing, especially the stained glass windows. Overall, this was an excellent book filled with everything a good story has- especially adventure and solid characters. Wonderful! Nominate? yes. 4Q 4P. Elle 13 Jessica Day George makes a charming debut into the world of YA fantasy with her novel DRAGON SLIPPERS. Set in the kingdom of Faravel, Creelisel Carlsbrun beings this witty book with the sentence : “It was my aunt's idea to give me to the dragon.”Naturally, things go downhill from there. However, Creel ends up getting herself mixed up with some princes, an evil princess, dragons of all sizes and colors, a horrid pink dress, a worse dress with satin roses on it, and an evil plot to take over the kingdom. DRAGON SLIPPERS is a book with a funny, witty, strong heroine who has a refreshing voice. George has created a character that will go in with the likes of Pierce's Sandry, Meyer's Bella, and Homer's Penelope as a lovable heroine. The story may seem to be cliche for a time here or there, but it twists itself into strange and exciting patterns. The ending leaves a little to be desired, but on the plus side it points to a sequel (I don't really know how she did it, because three pages before I was bemoaning that she had tied up all the looses ends and there would be no sequel). In closing, DRAGON SLIPPERS is an engenious debut novel that is classic fantasy at its best and most refreshing. Sure to be an instant hit with fans of Harry Potter, Eragon, and other such fantasy novels. I would like this book. Either a galley or hardcover copy, or the one with the rubber band around it because the spine is all sliced. Nominate? yes. 5Q 5P. Robbie, 17 I can’t believe that this is Jessica George’s first book! This burgeoning new author is full of promise, and with this amazing first novel I can only imagine what other great stories she will produce. Dragon Slippers is a hilarious book about a girl who was given to a dragon in hopes of catching a Prince to marry her, but instead receives an interesting pair of shoes and new friends on a fabulous adventure. This book is, so far, the best fantasy that I’ve read this year. The story reminds me of the style Ella Enchanted was written in, and while it’s not of quite the same caliber, it holds its own charm. The main character had a gook head planted firmly on her shoulders with a self determination that I found endearing. It was a fairy tale that proved that maidens can still be strong and get what they want without being in distress, a fact that I applaud. I look forward to more stories by Ms. George. I would suggest this book to anyone who likes a good fairy tale. Katherine, 18 This was a very fast paced book, but in these short pages, it said alot for the characters (who were varied in quality) and the ingenuity of the author who wrote it. The whole slippers thing was very creative and I for one loved all of the twists and turns that the plot took. Also, I thought the ending was very fitting and sort of the Happily Ever After thing that happens alot although I thought that it worked out GREAT!! Nominate? yes. 4Q 4P. Lewis, 13 Goobie, Beth Hello, Groin Orca The book was OK, I didn’t really enjoy it, but I could handle it. I thought it was different than it really was. Nominate? no 3Q 3P. Fmjabcfui Qmpuofs, 15 I thought that this book was as close to reality as possible. WhereI live, I could see this happening in my own school. My school is pretty much the same school as in the book. Nominate? yes 4Q 4P. Tpoz Mnmubrvf 17 Lewry, Fraser and Tom Ryan Kitten War This book is good for kids who do not like to read, but it gets them to start out small and then they can work their way up to novels. One thing is that I must have horrible taste in cats because I only chose the right cat about 25% of the time. Nominate? Yes. 3Q 4P Upoz N., 17 I like the book Kitten Wars not only because you get to pick the cutest kitten, but it tells you what kitten was voted cutest by the other people. Nominate? no. 2Q. 3P. Aesjbo Dvoo 16 For her the book is written rather well. The story line is a good one, but could probably be more developed by a better author. Mackler does a decent job, but the book is rather dry and much like many ther books out there. Nominate? no. 3Q 2P. Kyla, 16 Mancusi, Mari Girls that Growl Berkley JAM titles 2007 This book although good, didnt go into great detail. some of the issues were not explained or explained in a confusing manner. some of the lines were rather cheesy.however this book further extended the characters and provided an interesting plot line. over all i liked it. Nominate? yes. 4Q 4P. Lauren, 17 Nance, Andrew Daemon Hall Henry Holt 2007 I thought it was a good book. I recommend it to anyone that likes surprises and weird stories throughout the whole book. No. 3Q Readable. 3P Some Teen appeal. Chance 16 Nance, Andrew Daemon Hall this was an amazing book that kept me guessing untill the very end. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and one quick word of advice... dont read before you go to bed!!! it is scary, funny, wierd, and made sence all at the same time! i would love to own a coppy of this book and any others like it!!! Nominate? yes. 5Q 5P Cody K. 14 This is a good creepy book where you know something bad is going to happen, but you don't know what. I love how this book has stories inside stories. Nominate? yes. 4Q. 4P.-- Melissa C., 17 Nance, Andrew Daemon Hall The book is about four finalist that go a to a haunted house called Daemon Hall for a contest. They read their stories and after each one, they blow out a candle. Read to find out what happens.I think that the book was interesting. When I was reading I kept wanting to read on to find out what was going to happen. Also the stories that the contestants read were exiting and hooked me to the book. This book is about a young boy, who with the help of his friend, find the courage to save their teacher and achieve some goals. I highly recommend this book to beginning readers as one of the best short books I’ve read. Nominate? yes. 3Q 3P. Mjdibfm Dvoo, 15 Prevost, Guillame The Book of Time Unexpectedly and ironically, I spent a very small amount of time reading this book. Some people might love it, but I got about 10 minutes in, I was not interested, and I just didn't like the plot, setting, or even the boring characters. It had a great cover, but that doesn't count for anything. Nominate? no 3Q 2P Lewis, 14 I liked the book, the reading was just right for me. In the beginning it was sad but then it got better. I never thought Bart would be able to stick up for himself, but I was wrong. The book was really great. Nominate? Yes 5Q 4P. Elizabeth, 15 I recommend this book to bullies and people getting bullied. It’s a good book but boring at the beginning, so try and stick with it. Nominate? No. 3Q Readable. 2P Only for special interest. --Chance, 16 This is a heart touching book about a boy that who goes through hard times and over comes many obstacles. I recommend this book to any one who loves to read or is a beginning reader. Nominate? Yes 4Q 4P. Mjdibfm Dvoo, 16 Smith, Roland Peak Harcourt 2007 Peak is the story of a 14-year-old boy who with serious climbing addictions is caught climbing a sky scraper in New York, where he lives. During the trial he learns that the penalty is to serve a long form of detention in a juvenile school or to go live with his biological father ,whom he has rarely met , who runs a mountain climbing business in Thailand. What Peak does not realize is that he was rescued by his father, from certain doom of boredom, so he could take him up to be the youngest person on Mt. Everest. A very good story with a surprising twist ending ,Smith is able to keep the reader interested and hooked with the relationship between father and son and the adventure on the highest mountain in the world. Hazel 15 I liked this book but it wasn’t something I would normally read. It was kind of dry and boring, but it was easy to get through. I’ve climbed before so I can relate to some of the things they were talking about. I think climbing Everest at 14 would very difficult. I can imagine the challenges that this character had to face. Nominate? no. 3Q 3P. Ibo Dpxez 17 I liked the book a lot and I think it is a reliable story to a lot of teens with their parents. I liked how Peak lets ***********spoilers deleted *******Sunjo go to the top instead of himself. Would you like this book? Atwater-Rhodes not only finished the series in a great way but this book was unpredictable and quick. the characters are fully developed and you can get into their heads; become them! i loved this book and series and will recommend it to anyone! Nominate? yes. 5Q 5P. Lauren, 17 Bauer, Michael Gerard Don't Call Me Ishmael Greenwillow Books 2007 - August Ishmael is convinced that he has discovered a disease called Ishmael Leseur's syndrome. His theory is "THEORY ONE: Ishmael Leseur's Syndrome is triggered by the release of a deadly virus that results from the combination of the words 'Ishmael' and 'Leseur.' This deadly virus wreaks havoc upon a person's emotional state, and how everyone else on earth views them. In a word, he is a "freak". The book was very enjoyable, with a few parts where I almost quit, but I'm relieved I didn't. Nominate? no 3Q 4P Andrea F., 14 Downing, Erein Prom Crashers Simon Pulse 2007 This book is the definition of chick lit. the characters are semi developed and the plot is decent. the twist at the end was unexpected and made the book better. it wasnt predictable at all. i enjoyed the book. and would classify it as a quick pick. Nominate? no 3Q 3P Lauren, 17 Duey, Kathleen Skin Hunger 2007 - August Duey, Kathleen Skin Hunger This book is definitely one of the best books I've read this year. I could not stop reading! I is interesting how she ended this book- closed this one off just enough to satisfy but sets it up for the next book too. There is plenty of mystery left in the book, again, to set it up for the next book. I loved the characters, especially Sadima, Franklin, and Gerrard. Nominate? yes. 5Q. 5P. Kara D., 13 It's a very hard book to describe, but all I can say is that from the multitudes of trilogies that are floating around, this is one of my favorites. Not recommended for reluctant readers, as the story is very complex. I would like the book club's copy of this book. Nominate? yes 5Q 5P. Andrea F., 14 Skin Hunger looks a lot like a horror book, and the title doesn't suggest anything different. When I read it however, I got a startlingly different impression. Duey created startlingly vivid fantasy in Skin Hunger that many will enjoy. It is about two peole - Hahp, a child who is sent to a wizard academy, and Sadima, a farm girl who moves to live in a big city by the ocean. These two characters are in different times, and they both have problems in their lives. Hahp, after being sent to the academy, is allowed no food until he learns to make his own, and has to run through rocky caves in bare feet to survive. Sadima on the other hand is in love with a man who is acting with another on something very sinister. Nominate? yes 4Q 5P. Lewis, 14 Lynn, Erin Demon Envy Penguin Group 2007 - October A 16 year old girl named Kenzie spills her $160 zit cream down her shower drain, accidentally opening a demon portal. A kind of geeky guy who says he's a demon pops up into her bathtub, and pretty much you can figure out the rest from there. Kenzie and the demon must join forces to defeat the powers of darkness, but can they succeed? Very hilarious, with a healthy addition of ordinary teenage angst and woes, I'm looking forward to the sequel already. I would like to the book club's copy of this book. Nominate? yes 4Q 4P. Andrea F., 14 Petrucha, Stefan Teen, INC. Walker August 2007 . This is a book that starts off slowly but really gets into it. I would recommend this book to most teens, because it is about the teen life and how he makes it through his life living in a corporation because his parents died when he was little and it was their fault. Nominate? yes. 3Q. 4P. Jfttf Esfltpn, 1.7 This book was disappointing. It was a fairly basic battle against the big corporation, and will the one person who can stop their evil step forward? Altogether, a rather bland book that you could read if there was nothing better around. Nominate? no 3Q 3P. Andrea F. 14 Snicket, Lemony Horseradish HarperCollins 2007 - August It's a book of a collection of quotes from the many books Lemony Snicket has written. I really enjoyed how the book was organized. I would like the book club's copy of this book. Nominate? no. 4Q 4P. Andrea F., 14 Volponi, Paul Rucker Park Setup It is a wonderful book for teens. Kpio Mfbiz, 15 Wasserman, Robin Chasing Yesterday: Awakening Scholastic 2007 - May i really like how jane doe is looking to find out who she is. she is a lot of danger but she is terrifide to remember her past. she then finds out that everything about her is a lie. her best friend helps her and save her from danger. the are now on the run. i really like this book because in some ways it riminds me of my past. i really want the series of this book Nominate? yes. 4Q 4P. --anika, 16 I like this book alot!I cant wait to read the next one. It is really exciting and mysterious and makes your heart beat fast when you get about in the middle of the book. And the ending is really serprising because you expect to find out what happend to J.D but theres a glitch. Nominate? yes. 4Q 4P. Saydee 14 At first Chasing Yesterday reminded me of the television show Kyle XY, about a boy who couldn’t remember his past and was constantly haunted by disturbing dreams with amazing abilities and a habit of drawing a mysterious symbol quite like the one J.D. ( the main character of Chasing Yesterday) draws, and while the two stories have many parallels, Chasing Yesterday does turn out to be a different story. J.D., the abbreviation for Jane Doe, finds herself living with her “mother” who calls her Alexis, but J.D. doesn’t feel like she belongs in the world she is brought into, yet after visiting a psychologist, a man she recognizes from her disturbing dreams, she begins having bizarre memories of herself and her mother. This story was a great start to a promising new series. My only complaint is that the story finally got to an important part that started to gather momentum, and then it ends. I suspect that the first and second books could easily be combined, yet they weren’t, a big disappointment. Katherine 18 Watson, C.G.
