Teens in the Grand Junction area have the opportunity of attending book clubs done in conjunction with the Center for Adolescent Reading and reading the very newest books, sometimes even before they hit the bookstores. Currently the Bistro Book Club is meeting at 4p.m. every Wednesday afternoon at the Mesa County Public Library (5th & Grand). The Book Club is free and open to readers age 12-18 or in middle school or high school. Hey! We even have free refreshments.
During the school year we have additional meetings at Grand Junction High School (1st & 3rd Wednesdays at lunch in the library) and Central High School (1st & 3rd Wednesdays at lunch in the library)(2nd & 4th Wednesdays at lunch in the library) . Bistro Book Club - Fruita meets in the Fruita Middle School Library every Monday at 3p.m.
